About Ozi

Ozi is Igbo for messenger.

Every business runs on messages: the newsletter, the quote, the receipt, the reply. We built Ozi so they all leave from one place, on your own name, and arrive.

Onye ozi na-agba ọsọ

The messenger is running.

Our mark is an “o” with an opening, and a dot leaving through it: a message on its way out. The indigo is uli, after the dye Igbo artists use to draw fine lines that repeat outward from a single mark, which is what a good message does too.

What we believe

How business email should work.

Plain words beat jargon.

Most people who send email for a business aren't email experts, and shouldn't have to be. We say "blocked addresses", not "suppression list", and explain the rest.

Pay for sending, not for storing.

Your contact list is your business. Charging you more because it grows punishes the thing you're trying to do, so we charge for what you send, never for the contacts you keep.

Your domain, your reputation.

Email goes out from your name, signed for your domain. We help you keep that reputation clean, because once it's damaged it's slow to repair.

One place, not five.

Inboxes, newsletters and your app's emails all depend on the same domain. They belong in the same place, set up once.

Send your first email today.

Start on the free plan, no card needed. Add your domain and you can send the same day.
